ROMAN, Leone (Lee) Beatrice, born May 11, 1912 in Schreiber, Ontario, passed away peacefully at Langley Lodge on March 26, 2006 aged 93 years.
Lee was predeceased by her husband Oscar in 2001.
She is survived by her son Bud (Cherry) Green; daughter Bet (Bill) Turnbull; grandson Wally (Debbie) Green and their sons Ryan, Mark and Shawn of Surrey; grandson Doug (Patti) Green and their children Kimberly, Craig, Kristi of Penticton; grandson Ray (Jane) Green and their son Christopher and daughter Jamie of Australia; grandson Kim (Linda) Turnbull and their daughters Aaron (Mike), Danika, Meggie and Katie of Aldergrove; granddaughter Debbie (Tim) Klim and their children Kayla and Ty of Burnaby; granddaughter Valerie (Marty) Cowal and their sons Mackenzie and Travis of Saudi Arabia; grandson Michael Turnbull and his sons Matthew and Austin of North Vancouver; grandson Alan (Adrienna) Turnbull and son Micky of Coquitlam; great great grandson Lynden; stepchildren Barry, Diane and Marion and their families; cousins Rossi Doyle; Maureen Redins; Phyllis McParland, all of Ontario and Doris (Earl) Holmes of Powell River and many other wonderful family and friends too numerous to mention but who she would never forget.
She lived her life to the fullest, loving, laughter, music, family and friends and always had a wonderful fondness for animals. She loved her pets and rescued strays whenever they came to her doorstep.
With love and sadness we will say goodbye to Leone (Lee) Roman on Friday, March 31, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of First Memorial Funeral Services, 27555 – 31 Avenue, Aldergrove, B.C.
