Letter: Thanks to all who came to help

Editor: On Monday, Jan. 15, I was injured in the crosswalk on Glover Road near Mary Avenue in Fort Langley.

I want to thank all of those who came to my assistance and whose names I don’t know. I remember the encouraging words and the selfless actions of those who removed their coats to keep me as comfortable as possible.

I appreciate the quick response of all the first responders, including the Fort Langley volunteer fire department, paramedics and RCMP. It’s wonderful to live in a caring community.

Thank you.

Lawrence McQuid,

Fort Langley
