Break out the brooms for the Abbotsford Pilots.
The two teams played four scoreless periods, and the goose eggs were finally broken at 5:21 of the second overtime period when Cameron Obcena scored the game and series winning goal.
Trappers goalie Keaton Dyck was spectacular in a losing cause, stopping 52 shots. Pilots goalie Gunnar Neilsen picked up his second straight shutout, and only allowed four goals in the entire series.
The win comes off a 5-0 win in game three at the MSA Arena that saw the Pilots get goals from MacDonald, Brady Morton, Baylee Wright, Cameron Obcena and Noah Wiebe.
The Pilots opened the series with a 2-1 win in Langley on Wednesday, and also took down the Trappers 5-3 in Abbotsford on Friday in game two.
Pilots forward Baylee Wright, who captured the PJHL scoring title during the regular season, was the top performer in the series with seven point in four games. Fowards Jacob De Waal and MacDonald both contributed with six points.
Abbotsford now awaits the winner of the Ridge Meadows Flames and Aldergrove Kodiaks series, which the Flames lead 3-0. Game four in that series occurs tomorrow (Wednesday) in Aldergrove.
