The North Langley Lakers and North Langley Raptors both won their respective league championships in the B.C. Metro Basketball League.

Lakers, Raptors capture Metro titles

North Langley teams take spot in U12, U13 leagues, respectively

A pair of North Langley metro basketball teams were crowned champions in their respective divisions of the Basketball BC Metro League.

The championship games were played at Trinity Western University on Sunday.

In the U12 final, it was the North Langley Lakers cruising past the Crescent Beach Orange Crush 45-24.

And in the U13 game, the North Langley Raptors defeated Surrey’s Junior Crusaders 46-37.
